Why Pilates?
The pilates method, is a lifestyle encompassing the development of a healthy, well-developed body under the guidance of the mind. The mat work, the basis for the system, can be performed anywhere and integrates the whole body. The series of the apparatus exercises gives substantial assistance to the creation of long, lean , strong muscles by providing them the right amount of resistance through the use of springs. There are no large numbers of repetitions that fatigue and overdevelop the muscles.
The exercises are low impact and can be practiced by anyone at any age. The breathing, core control, balance, and spine flexibility are beneficial to seniors, elite athletes, dancers, sports participants, pre and postpartum women and children.
Our instructors must be extremely well trained, 500 hours of comprehensive training through an accredited school.
Our Mission is to provide each client with the best quality of Pilates training.
Our group sessions have 5 clients to an instructor and are 50 minutes in duration.
Clients new to comprehensive Pilates are required to take 1 orientation class. The orientation classes are both informational and functional and introduce the principles of Pilates.

The group classes are progressive and can be modified to meet each person’s needs.
We also offer sport specific programs, such as golf conditioning, however, any athlete requiring strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination will benefit from our Pilates program.

Each exercise is thoughtfully and purposefully placed in the class exercise order to optimize the ability to burn fat, sculpt the body, and build long, lean muscles. We took ballet barre leg sculpting exercises and amplified them. Our program is designed to strengthen the muscles by working to fatigue then stretch to lengthen and sculpt. By adding the BeyondBarre GlideBoard cardio, along with balls, bands and our funky music mixes, you slim down while having fun.
